Today is a beautiful day in Chicago. It is cool, dry, and sunny. A perfect late summer day. Days like this are great and they remind me that my favorite season is on the way. I like just about everything about fall. The warm days and cool nights are great. I like fall attire - sweaters and jeans, but no coat. I like watching football games. The yellows, oranges, and reds in the landscape are beautiful. Fall also means a trip to the apple orchard to enjoy crisp apples, apple pie, and apple donuts. It would be nice if fall lasted all year, but I guess it wouldn't be as special if it did.
